While granite and quartz are exceptionally hard wearing surfaces, marble is not as tough and all surfaces can still be open to scratches. We would therefore recommend that you use a chopping board to protect your worktops and knives by avoiding cutting directly onto the stone surface.
You need to be careful re staining your worktops. Our trained staff will seal your worktops as part of our service, if required, but we recommend that any seal is maintained regularly. Just ask a member of our staff for advice on this and which products to use.
Be aware of sudden changes in surface temperature on your worktops. We would always recommend the use of a protective stand/trivet to prevent hot pots and pans causing any sudden changes.
Your worktops should require minimal maintenance and upkeep to keep them looking like new. We suggest that you clean your worktops regularly with a non-abrasive bleach-free cleaner to keep them as good as new. Just wipe down the worktops each day with warm water to keep them clean and dry them with a soft, clean cloth.
